Project S.N.A.P. is a national program. We are creating 52 giant 15’ x 20’ mosaic murals. Every state, the Capital and the U.S. Territories will have its own mural and every student will have the opportunity to help create it. We invite teachers, administrators, PTA/PTO Representatives and parents to help bring Project S.N.A.P. to your state.
State Volunteers can help:
- Identify school districts and contact people (i.e., art teacher's groups, science teachers, principals, art coordinators, environmental groups who might want to help, even the media. Anyone who can facilitate the process of students creating artwork on the project theme is welcome.
- Find an appropriate venue to exhibit the final mural (i.e., science museum, art museum, state museum, or any other prominent venue that is open to the public).
- Find sponsors for the project in your state. Since we are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, we rely on the generous contributions of our sponsors. In this way, we can offer this program at no cost to schools.
- Raise money for your schools by helping to coordinate the Project S.N.A.P. Mosaic Mural Poster Program that gives every participating student a chance to have their picture included in a limited edition poster of a Project S.N.A.P. State Mosaic Mural and raise funds for their school
